What is modelled, and what is assumed

All proposed footprints, 29 tower storey counts, 59 apartment blocks/wings, park areas, eight civic reserves and 19 retention candidates come directly from the agreed 2D map. The map has not been redesigned for this model.

New buildings use 3.2 m per storey: towers are approximately 128–224 m; 14-storey blocks are 44.8 m. These are visual height assumptions, not construction drawings. Roofs and façade lines are schematic.

Retained buildings use their mapped footprint, clipped to the retained fabric in the agreed map. Historic squares remain open at ground level. This is simplified massing, not a reconstruction of individual historic façades, roofs or architectural details.

The ground is flat at a common datum. Vila de Gràcia’s real slopes, underground spaces and terrain elevations are not modelled. Lighting and shadows are illustrative, not a dated sun study.

Trees are illustrative planting placed inside the park polygons and clear of the mapped paths. They are not a planting schedule or existing-tree inventory. Purple plots remain unbuilt civic reserves; no unagreed facilities have been added.

Housing capacity remains about 41,700 new homes at 80 m² usable per dwelling and 80% usable-area efficiency. Retained homes are excluded. The sourced 2026 baseline is 31,863 residential cadastral units. This 3D model adds no housing capacity.

Tower feasibility, full heritage protection, wind, daylight, servicing, mobility and rehousing remain untested. Adjacent neighbourhoods appear only as muted context.
